9-11 BYLAWS


1-Must use correct size football:

1/2—PEE WEE
3/4—PEE WEE
5/6--JUNIOR
7/8---YOUTH


2—STANDINGS

If teams records are exactly the same, the standings are decided by the following.

1 ST —Head-to-Head—Who won the game when they played each other
2 ND —Which team GAVE UP THE LEAST AMOUNT OF POINTS
(not using point deferential)


3—DIVISIONS

A. If 12 or less teams in a division----2 divisions for playoffs
B. If 13 or more teams in a division---3 divisions for playoffs
C. If there is an ODD number of teams in a division, (5 for example) for the playoffs,
C1—1 st place gets a BYE
C2---4 th place vs 5 th place for the final playoff spot. Winner plays 1 st place team
C3---2 nd place vs 3 rd place
D. If there is an EVEN number of teams, (6 for example) for the playoffs,
D1—1 st & 2 nd place teams get a BYE
D2—3 rd place vs 6 th place
D3—4 th place vs 5 th place
D4—1 st place team will vs the LOWEST place team remaining
D5—2 nd place team will vs the NEXT LOWEST place team


4—Playing on multiple teams.

A. A player is allowed to play on multiple teams within the same division however we CAN NOT
GUARENTEE that the teams will not play each other during the season.
B—For the PLAYOFFS. If the teams are in the SAME DIVISION, players MUST pick a team to play
with for the playoffs.
C—For the PLAYOFFS, If the teams wind up in different divisions (Example: 1 team in the EAST
division and the other team is in the WEST division, players CAN play for both teams.


5—If ANYONE that is not a part of the team, plays in a game for that team, the team AUTOMATICLY
FORFIETS the game and the COACH is suspended for that game and the following game


6—Team jerseys MUST be worn and worn properly.


7—Must only use 9-11 Flag Belts


8—Teams CAN NOT add a player to their team after the 3 rd game unless their roster falls to 9 players or
less. They can add a player but team can only have a maximum of 10 players on the team.


9—RAINOUTS—IF A GAME IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE COACH, AND ONLY THE COACH
WILL BE NOTIFIED BY TEXT AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE THEIR GAME. IF THEY DO NOT RECEIVE A TEXT
STATING THAT THE GAME IS CANCELLED, THAT MEANS THE GAME IS ON.


10—Mouthpieces MUST be worn by EVERY player.


11—EQUIPMENT CHECK—Before each game the referees will check each player for proper flag belts and
for mouthpieces.


12—If teams are wearing the same color jerseys, the VISITING team will wear the pennies.


13—Coaches CAN NOT stay on the field at the start or during a play.


14—The 9-11 BOARD will meet and make a decision on any disciplinary actions


15—MERCY RULE—Team being Merced can add additional defender????


16—If a player, coach or spectator is ejected from a game, They MUST leave the field and will be
suspended for the NEXT game.


17—If play is stopped due to an injured player, that player has to come out for at least 1 play.


18—The last minute of the 1st half IS NOT A PRO CLOCK. It is a running clock and only a TIME OUT will
stop the clock. The last minute of the 2 nd half is different. That IS A PRO CLOCK.


19—NO ONE IS FORCED TO PLAY. If you feel it is not safe for your child to play in any game for whatever
reason, YOUR CHILD DOES NOT HAVE TO PLAY AND IT WILL NOT BE HELD AGAINST THEM.


20--No confetti cartridges to be used to celebrate on the field.
